Edible packaging material is a kind of edible packaging material which is extracted or refined by using natural organic small molecules and high molecular substances and processed under certain industrial conditions. The main hidden danger of safety is that in the process of material collection and production and processing, the pollution in the process of material collection and transportation will be harmful to human body. The additives in the production process are a big problem, as well as the compatibility with products.
1. Whether it is a food grade packaging bag.
2. According to whether the food packed inside is heat sensitive or photosensitive material, check whether the packaging bag is heat-resistant and light-resistant, etc.
3. Is there any requirement to remind consumers: for example, it can not be heated together with the packaging bag, etc.
The problems and solutions in the packaging of health products
Health care products have been criticized for various false propaganda and unreasonable marketing forms. Similarly, the packaging of health products bottle seems to be affected by this trend. All kinds of problems are also concentrated on the packaging of health products.
First of all, the packaging of health product bottle is too luxurious and not practical. Now the whole packaging industry is resisting the phenomenon of over packaging. However, in order to improve the quality of health care products in packaging, health care products manufacturers often use gold-plated caps, thickened plastic, glass bottles and other health care products, which run counter to the whole industry and are widely criticized. Secondly, the packaging identification of health product bottle is not standardized, and the appearance is almost the same as that of drug packaging, so it is difficult for consumers to distinguish, so it is necessary to strengthen the unity of the appearance identification of health product bottle. Thirdly, the overall recovery rate of the health product bottle is very low and the packaging is luxurious, but the health product manufacturers are basically in the state of zero recovery rate for the packaging of the health product bottle. It causes waste of resources.
For these problems, on the one hand, the key is to strengthen supervision and guidance, to manage the packaging of health product bottles produced by health product manufacturers, and to crack down on the over luxurious packaging forms. Guide the consumer's view of consumption and resist the luxury package of health care products. On the other hand, health products manufacturers should strengthen self-discipline and promote the standardized development of the industry.
How to identify the quality of plastic bottles
1. Identification of plastic product mark
Most of the regular manufacturers of plastic products will indicate the ingredients of raw materials or the letters written in the quotation on the products or on the product packaging.
Whether it is a pure plastic container or a food packaging container, the recycling mark is usually printed on the container, and the number 1-7 is marked in the middle of the triangle, and the abbreviation of the raw material is also indicated.
Triangle bid "1" indicates that the raw material is polyester (PET);
"2" indicates that the raw material is HDPE;
"3" means PVC;
"4" means low density polyethylene (LDPE);
"5" indicates that the raw material is polypropylene (PP);
"6" means polystyrene (PS);
"7" indicates that the raw material is plastics other than 1 to 6 categories. Among these plastics, polycarbonate (PC) is the most widely used in food.
2. Sensory recognition of harmful plastic products
Food plastic products that smell pungent or unpleasant may have safety problems.
Some plastic parts of kitchenware (such as the handle of the pot) will release an unpleasant smell when they are exposed to high temperature. This kind of substance is also toxic, and it will harm human health if inhaled too much. There are also some poor quality electric plastic kettle, when heating water, will also produce unpleasant smell. This kind of plastic pot is not safe for human body.
What are the classifications of plastic bottles? What are the materials of plastic bottles?
According to the different characteristics of various plastic bottles, plastic bottle manufacturers usually divide plastic bottles into three types: general plastic bottles, engineering plastic bottles and special plastic bottles.
The general plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic with large output, wide use, good formability and low price. There are five kinds of raw materials for general plastic bottles, namely polyethylene and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymers (ABS). They are all thermoplastic. Engineering plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic that can bear certain external force, has good mechanical properties, high and low temperature resistance, good dimensional stability, and can be used as engineering structure, such as polyamide, polysulfone, etc. In engineering plastics, it is divided into general engineering plastics and special engineering plastics. General engineering plastics include: polyamide, POM, polycarbonate, modified polyphenylene ether, thermoplastic polyester, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, methylpentene polymer, vinyl alcohol copolymer, etc. Special engineering plastics can also be divided into crosslinking type and non crosslinking type. The crosslinking types are: polyamine bismaleamide, polytriazine, crosslinked polyimide, heat-resistant epoxy tree finger, etc. Non crosslinking types include polysulfone, polyethersulfone, polyphenylene sulfide, polyimide, peek, etc. Special plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic with special functions, which can be used in aerospace and other special applications. For example, fluoroplastics and organosilicon have outstanding special functions such as high temperature resistance, self lubrication and so on. Reinforced plastics and foam plastics have high strength, high cushioning and other special properties. These plastics belong to the category of special plastics.
Can plastic bottles hold hot water?
Can the plastic bottle hold boiled water? Please see the logo and Arabic numbers on it. The triangle of three arrows means "recyclable". The numbers inside represent different materials. If the products are made of several different materials, the main materials of the products are marked. These figures do not directly represent the heat resistance of plastic bottles, but if you can understand the materials represented by each figure, you can also make it easier for consumers to use plastic products more scientifically:
1 stands for pet (polyethylene terephthalate). The general mineral water, carbonated beverage and functional beverage bottles are made of this material. When the temperature is high, it is easy to deform, and some harmful substances may dissolve. In high temperature weather, do not put mineral water in the open air or in the car, or directly pour boiling water into coke bottles;
2 stands for HDPE (high density polyethylene). The plastic bags widely used in supermarkets and shopping malls used this material, which is relatively heat-resistant, but not easy to clean and easy to breed bacteria;
3 stands for PVC (polyvinyl chloride), in which plasticizers contain harmful substances, which are easy to precipitate when encountering high temperature and grease. At present, many plasticizers have been banned in Europe, and few plastic products are used for packaging food in China.
4 represents LDPE (low density polyethylene). At present, most of the fresh-keeping films and plastic films on the market are made of this material, which is not strong in heat resistance. When the temperature of qualified PE fresh-keeping films exceeds 110 ℃, hot melting will occur. Wrap the food with the fresh-keeping films and heat it, and the oil in the food will easily dissolve the harmful substances in the fresh-keeping films.
5 stands for PP (polypropylene). The microwave oven lunch box is made of this material, which is resistant to 130 ℃ high temperature and poor transparency. Some lunch boxes are made of PP, while the box cover is made of PS (polystyrene). PS has good transparency but not high temperature resistance, so it cannot be put into the microwave oven together with the box body.
6 stands for PS (polystyrene), which is the material used to make bowl packed foam noodle boxes and foam fast food boxes. It is heat-resistant and cold resistant, but it can not be put into the microwave oven. Try to avoid using fast food boxes to pack hot food.
7 stands for other categories. The plastic used to make milk bottles and space cups should not be used to hold boiled water.
How long can a plastic bottle last? How long can a plastic bottle last?
PET-1: polyethylene terephthalate, commonly used in mineral water bottles and beverage bottles (carbonates), is easy to deform when the temperature exceeds 70 ℃, and DEHP may be released after 10 months of use.
HDPE-2: high density polyethylene, commonly used in shampoo, bath gel containers, and white medicine bottles, not recommended for other uses (especially water).
PVC-3: PVC, commonly used in plastic film, building materials (profiles, pipes), etc., heat-resistant 80 ℃, do not use as food packaging, do not reuse.
PE-4(LDPE-4): Polyethylene (low-density polyethylene), which is commonly used for fresh-keeping film and similar plastic film. Avoid high temperature when using. Food covered with fresh-keeping film shall be removed and put into microwave oven.
PP-5: polypropylene, commonly used in microwave lunch boxes and juice beverage bottles, has good heat resistance, does not deform when the temperature is over 100 ℃, and has a melting point of over 160 ℃. It is the only plastic that can be put into microwave oven for heating, and can be reused. Pay attention to some microwave boxes. The boxes are made of PP, but the box covers are made of PE. Please be careful when using them.
PS-6: polystyrene (not Photoshop CS6), commonly used in fast-food boxes and instant noodles boxes, with general heat resistance (about 80 ℃), it is recommended to only be used once to avoid contact with acid-base solution, and the temperature should not be too high.
PC-7 refers to "other kinds of plastics", which are commonly used in space cups, kettles, etc. if it is a qualified product (bisphenol A is completely converted into plastic in the production process) produced by a regular manufacturer, it can be used at ease, but it is better not to use it for heating, usually avoid ultraviolet radiation, and it is recommended to replace it if there is damage or aging phenomenon. LZ said that if the surface appears turbid, it should belong to aging. It's better to use a new one.
Can pet bottles release dangerous substances when exposed to high temperature or high temperature?
It is important to understand that single pet plastic bottles do not contain compounds capable of producing hazardous substances under normal conditions of use, including exposure to hot cars or storage in refrigerated rooms. The Bloomberg School of public health at Johns Hopkins University has focused on the issue of frozen bottled water. "It's a city legend," its website says. If there are dioxins in plastics, then [freezing] will limit the release of chemicals. We don't think there are. "
FDA has reviewed migration test data and concluded that even under extreme conditions of use, PET containers do not immerse harmful substances in their contents. With regard to leaving bottled water in a hot car, the FDA has said: "exposure to higher temperatures does mean a greater migration of substances from plastic to water [or other drinks in similar containers]. However, in its safety review, FDA considers exposure at higher temperatures, such as storage and transportation of bottled water prior to sale, in its estimate of the potential level of substance migration from plastic to water.
"The expected level of migration, including during periods of elevated storage and transport temperatures (such as those that may be encountered in closed vehicles in the sun), as described above, has been determined by the agency to be within the margin of safety. Therefore, the agency does not consider this situation a security issue. "
Other characteristics of PET plastic bottle
Pet (polyethylene terephthalate) plastics are usually transparent and tough, which are good barriers to gas and water. Pet also has good heat resistance. The maximum filling temperature of pet is 160 ° F.
Other features of HDPE
HDPE (high density polyethylene) is a higher density version of PE. It's harder, stronger and heavier than LDPE and PE. HDPE can be processed in many ways, including plastic molding, plastic injection, extrusion, film blowing and blow molding.
HDPE (high density polyethylene) is a higher density version of PE. It's harder, stronger and heavier than LDPE and PE. HDPE can be processed in many ways, including plastic molding, plastic injection, extrusion, film blowing and blow molding.
HDPE is used in many packaging applications because it has excellent moisture resistance and is light and flexible. HDPE plastics have good chemical resistance, so they are usually used to pack many household and industrial cleaning products, including detergents, bleaches and acids.
HDPE for other purposes
Many forms of HDPE were found, such as film, blow molding bottle and injection molding. In the film form, HDPE is used for snack food packaging and grain box lining. In the blow molding bottle form, HDPE is used for milk and non carbonated beverage bottles. In the form of injection barrels, HDPE is used to produce margarine, whipping topping and packaging of cooked food.
